Born and raised in northern Illinois, Katelyn now calls Polk City, Iowa home. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, she has had the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects. What excites her most about design is the challenge of working with many different styles—from modern and minimal to classic and cozy—and tailoring each space to reflect the people who live in it. Her goal is always to create designs that are not only beautiful, but also practical, personal, and lasting.
Katelyn brings a versatile skill set to every project, blending creativity with technical precision. She is experienced in hand rendering, detailed drafting, thoughtful space planning, and thorough construction documentation. Her eye for color, texture, and materials helps transform design concepts into spaces that feel both beautiful and functional.
Along with her hands-on design abilities, Katelyn is fluent in a range of design software, including Chief Architect, Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design, and Adobe Photoshop. This balance of artistry and technology allows her to seamlessly move from initial ideas to fully realized spaces.
